Help When
Parenting Hurts
Parenting is challenging. Parenting a "hard kid" can leave you feeling isolated, discouraged, and worn thin.
This course offers hope and renewal by weaving together practical tools rooted in neuroscience and faith. Together we'll explore how joy and gratitude restore perspective, and how true rest makes space for grace. We'll also practice activating the brain pathways that help us stay calm, connected, and and how to correct through that connection.
Whether your child is 2 or 22, whether they came to you by birth, adoption, or foster care — these practices will strengthen your relationship and build the resilience you need to keep going.
This course invites you to experience God's disruptive grace, cultivate resilience, and rediscover joy on the parenting journey.
This isn't just for one kind of family. It's for yours. You don't have to have a certain kind of kid to need this — or to belong here.

“This parenting seminar was an excellent way to get back in touch with myself, and myself as a parent. I’ve come out of this experience feeling calmer, more connected to my kids, and with greater patience as a mom. I would recommend joining a cohort for any type of parent. Whether your struggling with a tough kid, or just wanting to be more present and connected with your child in general.”
“One of the many things I appreciated about the parenting sessions was that Tracy didn’t offer empty promises or try to minimize the hard parts of this journey. Instead, she gave practical tools that are actually within my control. It reminded me that while I may not be able to change every circumstance, I can faithfully pursue joy, and in doing so, slowly change my perspective and the way I carry our hard.”
“Taking the Parenting Hurts class was a game changer. It reminded me that I’m not alone - that so many of us are walking through the same struggles and learning as we go. Learned about neuroscience and the most practical, grace-filled techniques for how to love, correct, and disciple a child who carries trauma. There were hidden truths in these sessions that shifted everything for me. If you want a shortcut to healing, grab Jesus’ hand and take this class. It will open your eyes, strengthen your heart, and give you tools that actually work. ”
